We watch official state WARN Act registries, the legally-required notices companies file before a mass layoff or closure, and pull each one straight from the source.
Each filing is normalized: industry bucketed, role families inferred, geography tagged. Raw bureaucracy becomes a clean signal.
We check the sources daily (and on demand), new filings land in the feed usually within hours of a state publishing them, with the official record attached. The WARN itself is filed ~60 days before the jobs are actually cut: that's the early warning.
