Information, not advice
CanaryWhistle aggregates and presents publicly available layoff and closure notices (WARN Act filings) and related estimates. Everything on this site is for general information only. It is not legal, financial, employment, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Always consult a qualified professional for your situation.
Accuracy & estimates
Filing data comes from official state government sources and is reproduced in good faith, but it may contain errors, omissions, duplicates, or delays present in the original records. Compensation figures are national median estimatesderived from public Bureau of Labor Statistics data and are illustrative only, they are not statements about any individual's pay. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
No endorsement
Listing a company's WARN filing is a neutral, factual reproduction of a public record. It is not a comment on, or criticism of, that company. Outbound and affiliate links do not imply endorsement.
Ownership & permitted use
The individual WARN filings we reproduce are public records and belong to no one. The compilation, however, is ours: our aggregation across dozens of state sources, cleaning and de-duplication, employer entity-resolution, role and compensation estimates, the linking of SEC and PBGC corporate signals, the workforce-health status scoring, and the way all of it is organised and presented are original work owned by CanaryWhistle and protected by copyright and database rights.
You may browse, search, and share individual pages freely. You may not, without our prior written permission, scrape, crawl for bulk extraction, systematically download, mirror, resell, or redistribute the dataset or any substantial part of it, nor use it to build, train, or populate a competing product or dataset. Legitimate programmatic access is available under our Data plan. We may rate-limit, block, or pursue legal and equitable remedies against access that breaches these terms.
Corrections & removals
If you represent a company and believe a filing shown here is inaccurate, contact corrections@canarywhistle.comwith the details and we'll review it promptly against the official source.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanaryWhistle is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information on this site. You use the site at your own risk.
